I made the 2008 "The Dark Knight" logo out of black and yellow objects. It wasn't really that hard to make because all I had to do was place the black (and yellow) objects randomly and choose the batman logo layer and delete the excess parts of the objects. I feel like it might have looked better if the edges didn't look so sharp, but I didn't feel like moving all the layers around so that it looked like that.

Basically, a panda named Roger is sitting in an empty room and a ball rolls over to him unexpectedly. He immediately is in love with the ball and doesn't realize that if he rolls it away, it might not come back. When he does so, it doesn't come back for a while and Roger is sad, but then the ball does and he's happy again.
Jonny Lawrence is a British 2D Animator, Concept and Storyboard Artist. He lives in Barcelona and has over 3,000,000 views on Youtube for his video Maker vs. Marker. He also has gotten articles written about him on Huffington Post, Yahoo, and Gamespot. He worked on a Coca Cola commercial for Germany as a Concept Artist/Production Designer in February of 2012. His work caught my eye because he has done stop motion animation on a whiteboard and that's what I'm looking to do. He also does his job really well. He makes it look like it was a movie and not a stop motion. You can tell it's stop motion obviously, but that's what happens. It aggravates me that half of the world has tons of leftover food and it never comes into thought that we could be giving the people who don't even have a plate to eat on that food. I truly feel that we need to do something about this. That's why I picked World Hunger. There is no reason why we can't help it. 13.5 percent of the population is undernourished and if women farmers had the same access to resources as men, the population of hungry people in the world would be reduced by at least 150 million. That's one simple thing the world could do to help this problem by just a little bit. It's nothing too big and nothing too small. I don't know about you, but I think 150 million is a lot considering that 805 million people in the world don't have enough food to be healthy. The only issue I had with this was making the floor for the trash can and the boy to stand on. I wanted it to look like a cartoon wasteland before the whole drought look was set in place, but I couldn't get the it to look the way I wanted it to. Other than that I honestly thought it turned out pretty good.
There's a story behind this cinemagraph. This is the second one I made, but my plan was completely different from this one. My plan was to go home and take a video of my cat sleeping on my bed with his tail going back and forth because I have a window that shines right where he sleeps, so it's good lighting, and a dresser that stands next to his spot. I could have lay my Nikon on the dresser and it would have been a cute little cat cinemagraph, but guess what......I forgot. I realized in the morning on my way to school that I had completely forgot to do anything for any of my classes so I whipped my phone out and stood it on the window sill of the car. I video taped my car mirror, but there are a few problems with my video. I guess the car was bouncing a little so my phone kept going in and out of focus with the mirror. The other problem is that the car was going to fast to get a good quality still of one of the houses we went by so the background is kind of blurry and messed up. The last issue is the top of the side mirror. It's slightly moving because I didn't color that part with the brush when I should have. I was too worried about not getting the background into where I painted that I didn't want to color too close to the background. I suggest, for anyone that will consider making these gif-like videos, to keep the camera that anyone will use to video tape COMPLETELY still. If you're OCD like me, you'll be extremely annoyed by any slight movement you don't want moving in your cinemagraph.
I really really liked this mini project. I always wondered how people create these cool logo designs with words and now I know how! My favorite part was probably thinking of how all the colors together could create something really pretty. I didn't really have any issues with creating this because the instructions were kind of straightforward. The only thing I would really change would probably be the font. I wanted to download a font, but it wouldn't show up on Photoshop. I guess that was one problem I had. I don't really realize if I have problems because I either get over them or solve it quickly.
The only inspirations that went into this was the dreams from my head. I read a book a couple nights ago about nighttime dreams and why they do what they do and it fascinated me so much. You can't really control a dream so it's just your brain doing what it wants! Is that not super cool to you?! So, what I did was just let my brain daydream while looking at Photoshop brushes to download. I downloaded over 10 packs and put them in whatever way my brain wanted on a new file in Photoshop. I don't think I thought to much about what I was doing. I just did it! It's how I do most of my artwork. That being said, I didn't have any problems other than the basic I-cant-find-this and this-wont-work problems. If I did this again, which I most likely will, I would definitely change myself. Obviously, I look a little messed up....my necklace it my face when I was swinging my hair and It was the only decent one I got so I was forced to use it!
